The Artist: Ed Davis
Ed Davis is a veteran of the drumming world with a career spanning back to the 1970s. His deep technical foundation was built under the mentorship of jazz legends such as Tony Williams, Billy Higgins, Nick Martinis, and Elvin Jones.
This rich lineage of jazz mastery, combined with decades of experimentation with unconventional setups, led Ed to become a premier innovator in drum design. Beyond his work as a craftsman, Ed is a dedicated educator. He shares his extensive knowledge through his instructional films, including The Drums and the Learn in a Day series, covering both Rock and Jazz drums.
